Our mission at Redeemer is to glorify God by making disciples, and one of the primary places we are called to make disciples is in our own homes.  To that end, two times a year here at Redeemer we have a Parent Commissioning that occurs during the Sunday morning service.  Some churches call this a Baby Dedication, but we intentionally place the emphasis on the role of the parents as the primary disciple-makers for their children.  So our intent is to commission, or charge, our parents to enter the full-time mission field in their own homes as disciple-makers of their children.
